The Maxus Hunter Maple is an ideal Browning field gun, ably straddling the line between being too pretty to use and too good not to. The gloss finish maple stock looks so beautiful that its demure appearance masks the superior engineering and ergonomic design that makes the Maxus II unique. The light maple is countered with the rich black of the receiver and barrel. But don’t let the AAA Grade maple trick you into thinking this is like every other bird gun in the field. The PowerDrive Gas System cycles a wide range of loads and reduces felt recoils making the gun more comfortable to shoot and allowing you to get back on target faster to score a coveted double.
