What makes us unique from the other gun stores?

Our customer service is far and beyond what you normally encounter when you go to purchase a firearm. Whether you purchase in-person, or online, you’ll find that our friendly and professional staff want to help you have the best purchasing experience possible.

In-Person

Completing an Online Purchase through our Website

We complete a lot of online orders. It’s very simple to do.
First, complete the secure checkout process. If you’re in the local area, we can set an appointment to complete your firearms transfer. If you’re not located in the West Hartford area, we can ship your item to any FFL in the continental USA. (This is mandatory. All firearms have to be shipped from one dealer to another dealer.)  We do this all the time. We just need a copy of your chosen dealer’s Federal Firearms License (FFL), and you can e-mail that to darin@teamplusone.com. We then ship your firearm via Priority Mail to the designated dealer within 1 business day of purchase. The local dealer will then do the face-to-face transfer with you.

Return Policy: within 24 hours after purchase, if the item has not been shipped, we offer a refund minus a 20% restocking fee.  If your item has been shipped, there are no refunds. Any defective product issues must be handled via the manufacturer.

Completing a Purchase Elsewhere

When you purchase a firearm elsewhere, CT law mandates that it is shipped to a FFL (which is what we are) so you can pick up your order and complete the order.

If you’re having an item shipped to us from an out-of-state dealer, you’ll need a copy of our license to give to the seller.

The out-of-state dealer will then ship us your firearm. Please note, you must make sure that your item is legal to transfer in Connecticut. If it’s not, we will not complete the transfer.

When your CT legal item arrives, we’ll call you to set an appointment to complete the transfer. Our charge to process the transfer is $30 plus tax.

**Any items that arrive that are not CT legal will still incur the $30 fee + any other related costs.  If you are able to get an approved return from the originating dealer, you can provide us with that paperwork, and we will ship it back to the originating dealer.**  Items left longer than 30 days will incur a $1 per day storage fee.  If you are shipping an item to an out-of-state dealer, please contact us for details and pricing.
