Ways to purchase a firearm from us
In-Person

- If we have what you want, and you have a CT pistol permit, then you can purchase on the spot.

If we don't have what you want in the shop, then there's a good chance it's available online from us. (There are NO SHIPPING FEES for firearms purchases made on our online site, and there are NO TRANSFER FEES when you buy from our site. Problematic Transactions
If an out-of-State item is incoming, it must be from a dealer, not an individual. Likewise, related to all transactions, the average transfer takes about 30 to 45 minutes. If your incoming item, person-to-person transfer, or other related transaction becomes problematic (i.e. your background check, or the background check on the item comes back with an issue), then we will charge $35 for each additional 30 minutes of time that is necessary to resolve the issue. This fee is assessed even if you are not able to receive the items (again, for example, if a background check comes back poorly.)

- We will call you when your item arrives from the distributor- usually 3 to 5 business days.
- Come in to complete the transfer paperwork / background check and pick up your firearm from our West Hartford location or

From Out-of-State
When you purchase a firearm elsewhere, CT law mandates that it is shipped to a FFL (which is what we are) so you can pick up your order and complete the transfer.
If you’re having an item shipped to us from an out-of-state dealer, you’ll need a copy of our license to give to the seller.
The out-of-state dealer will then ship us your firearm. Please note, you must make sure that your item is legal to transfer in Connecticut. If it’s not, we will not complete the transfer.
When your CT legal item arrives, we’ll call you to set an appointment to complete the transfer. Our charge to process the transfer is $35 plus tax.

Any firearm, or item, that has come into the shop for either a transfer from out-of-state, or that has been purchased by a customer in any fashion from our shop, and the transfer of the firearm, or item, has not been completed within 120 days, the firearm, or item, will become the property of the shop. The firearm, or item, will be considered abandoned, and there will be no compensation or reimbursement made to any party in regards to the firearm, or item. As such, please be cognizant of any purchases made and complete transfers in a timely fashion.
